Two players who will by battling each other for the NABL stolen base crown this season, Ohtani and De La Cruz, each swiped a pair of bags in this game. However, it was the slowest player on the field that decided the outcome of this game. Rhys Hoskins belted a pair of two run homers (each off of a '5'). The ageless Marcel Ozuna smacked a two run shot for the visitors. Save for Clase.

Dylan Moore accounted for both of the Mariners' runs with a solo homer and a single, stolen base which led to the second run. Olson and Ozuna went back to back in the second inning and T Hernandez hit a solo HR and scored after a double to provide all the runs Sale would need today. Chris only gave up four hits and walked none. Game 3 and 4 will be entered later.... stay tuned! Continuing with games 3 and 4--

No A, no Z, no problem. B-Y pitcher Max Fried hurled a complete game shutout to run his record with New England to 36-4, this being the first game in his third season with the team. Only Abrams, Olson, and T Hernandez managed hits against Max today.

Manaea pitched the fourth consecutive CG for Capo and earned a series split. With the game tied 1-1 in the 6th, NE reliever Strahm gave up a home run to Bregman, allowing the inherited runner to score and saddling Jones with a L. Raleigh and Nimmo slugged solo shots off two other relievers as Capo tacked on enough insurance runs to rob Miller of a save opportunity.
