Las Vegas made noise in the fourth with back-to-back homers from Eugenio Suárez and Brent Rooker, grabbing a temporary 3â2 lead. After tying it up in the 4th on a Vaughn sac fly to drive in Perkins, Maui exploded for a 5-run fifth. The rally featured RBI doubles from Jeremy Peña and Jose Miranda, an RBI single from Andrew Vaughn, and an RBI knock by Patrick Bailey, part of his 3-RBI day. Sanchez went the distance for Maui, scattering eight hits and allowing four earned runs over nine innings. He walked two and struck out nine, using a well-placed fastball and breaking ball mix to induce weak contact after the fourth inning.

Bryce Miller was untouchable on the mound for the Wowies, throwing a complete-game shutout. He allowed just 2 hits and 3 walks over 9 innings, striking out 9 and never allowing a runner past second base. Littell kept things quiet early but unraveled by the 4th, giving up 3 earned runs in 6 innings. Relievers Aaron Bummer and Michael Tonkin each surrendered additional base hits as the Wowies piled on. The Wowies broke through in the 4th with a solo home run by Jose Miranda and added two more in the 5th with a towering blast from Heliot Ramos and an RBI triple by Blake Perkins. In the 7th, Miranda and Ramos sparked another mini-rally, each scoring again as Maui extended the lead to 5â0. It was a statement win, showcasing dominant pitching, sharp defense, and a lineup firing on all cylinders.
