Cazadero started early, Reynolds homered in the first, Noel in the second, but they were just solos. Luis Arraez singled a run in for Terrapin in the third inning. Cease was injured and had to leave the game after the last out of the fourth inning. He was relieved by the recently-cut Cionel Perez, who is out of work on June 1. He pitched two shutout innings, so after five and a half innings it was still 2-1 Crushers. The Flyers tied it on Oneil Cruz' homer in the 6th, after which Riley doubled. He scored when Wong was safe on Bobby Witt's error. 3-2 Flyers. Caleb Theilbar relieved Perez, and surrendered the tying run immediately when Gleyber Torres went deep. One out later Bobby Witt made up for his error, driving in the lead run with a sac fly. Webb had a 4-3 lead going into the bottom of the seventh. Doyle grounded out, but Arraez singled, his third hit of the game. Marte homered, Mitchell singled, Cruz tripled, and that was all for Webb. Kittridge entered the game, Riley singled home Cruz, Busch homered, Wong doubled, Ortiz grounded out, and Doyle ended the inning he had begun by flying out. 9-4 Flyers, and although Smith drove a run in in the eighth inning, Theilbar and Criswell were able to finish things.

The Crushers came back in a big way- Harper hit a three run homer in the Third inning to cap off a five run inning, Reynolds hit a solo and Noel had a two-run single in the fourth, when the Crushers plated four more. This all before the Flyers had their first hit. Ryan cruised the whole game, striking out 11 and allowing only five hits inclunding another Marte homer.

Doyle doubled home Wong in the third inning to give the Flyers a 1-0 lead. Cazadero tied it in the top of the fifth when Riley made an error, two outs later Gleyber Torres singled him in (second column 8, it could have been much worse) Wheeler was able to limit the damage, and Busch homered in the bottom half of the inning, breaking the tie. That waas all the scoring there was. Terrapin grounded into three double plays to keep them from scoring more, and Wheeler allowed only four hits, struck out seven and walked none. Terrapin squeaks out the series.
