Cease led off the game by walking Harper and Witt, Acuna doubled them both home, so it was 2-0 right out of the chute. A Harper sac fly in the 5th added the third run. The Flyers got an RBI single from Luis Arraez for their first run of the season in the bottom of the 6th, Nick Madrigal doubled in a run in the 7th, so Armstrong was called upon to pitch the 9th, and he was able to convert the save.

Lars Nootbaar was able to generate back-to back 14's to walk leading off the game vs the ZZ Webb, after Arraez singled Ketel Marte hit the Flyers' first homer of the year. The rookie Rodriguez pitched into the 6th inning, but allowed the first two to reach in that frame and was relieved by Schrieber, who allowed the two run double to Acuna. He was able to escape further damage by inducing Lewis to line into an inning-ending double play, preserving the lead. JP Crawford hit a solo homer leading off the 7th, giving the Flyers a bit of insurance, and the bullpen held the rest of the way. Devin Williams surrendered a hit and a walk in the 9th but escaped with the save.

Harper singled off Freeland to lead off the game, one out later Acuna tripled him home, JD Martinez hit a sac fly, and the Flyers were down two in the first again. The Flyers came right back, Nootbaar got a second column 11, then Marsh doubled hit home, and Nolan Gorman singled Marsh home. Tied at two through one, the Flyers felt great when catcher Connor Wong led off the inning with a triple. However the next batter Nick Madrigal rolled the dreaded 12, FDP, Assad escapes the inning. Freeland surrendered a two run double to Will Smith to break the tie in the fourth inning, and from there the Crushers' offense never looked back. Royce Lewis hit a three run homer in the 7th, and the Crushers coasted.
