Jun 20 2025The White Sox placed Booser on the 15-day injured list Friday due to a left shoulder strain. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Booser yielded three runs (two earned) in a blown save Thursday and will now be sidelined for a couple of weeks. The 33-year-old has posted a 5.11 ERA and 27:14 K:BB in 24.2 innings with the White Sox this season. The move opens up a spot on the active roster for Wikelman Gonzalez.
May 11 2025Booser threw a perfect ninth inning to earn a save against Miami on Sunday. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Booser needed only six pitches (five strikes) to retire the Marlins' 8-9-1 hitters in Sunday's win. It was his first save of the season after picking up his first win of the year Friday against Miami. He now owns a 4.80 ERA with a 15:8 K:B across 15 innings. Two of Booser's last three appearances have been save opportunities, and the White Sox's closer role still appears to be very fluid.
May 7 2025Booser (0-3) allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and one walk while recording only one out to blow the save and take the loss Tuesday against the Royals. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Booser was brought in to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning and suffered from a combination of poor pitching and bad luck. He walked the leadoff man, but Chase Meidroth had a pop fly bounce off his head one batter later. A subsequent pair of singles -- one of which didn't leave the infield -- gave the Royals the walk-off win. Booser started the season decently but has allowed six earned runs across his last 4.1 innings of work and doesn't look likely to continue to see save chances.
