Jun 29 2025Bradley (5-6) took the loss Sunday against the Orioles, allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk across 5.1 innings. He struck out two. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley held the Orioles to just one run through his first four innings, but he'd unravel late, giving up four runs over his final 1.1 frames. Bradley's had a tough time against Baltimore this year -- he's allowed 11 runs in just 6.2 innings in two starts against the O's. Overall, the right-hander sports a 4.79 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and 79:36 K:BB across 17 starts (92 innings) this season. Bradley will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Minnesota.
Jun 24 2025Bradley (5-5) allowed two hits and a walk over 6.2 shutout frames Tuesday, striking out four and earning a win over Kansas City. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley retired the first 16 batters he faced in the dominant performance. He faced a jam in the sixth inning with two runners in scoring position but escaped unscathed. It was a much-needed rebound after he gave up 19 runs (13 earned) over his previous three appearances. Bradley threw 57 of 87 pitches for strikes to earn his first win since May 21. He now owns a 4.57 ERA with a 77:35 K:BB through 86.2 innings this season. Bradley is lined up to start in Baltimore this weekend.
Jun 18 2025Bradley allowed seven runs (six earned) on six hits and one walk while striking out two across 1.1 innings Wednesday against the Orioles. He did not factor into the decision. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley made it through the first inning with relative ease, but his start spiraled out of control in the second frame. He allowed six of the first eight batters he faced to reach base -- and one additional reached via error -- including a pair of home runs before being removed from the outing. Bradley is in the midst of a disastrous stretch, as he's allowed 19 total runs across his three starts and 9.1 innings, although only 13 of those have been earned. The lone positive from his outing Wednesday was the fact that the Rays rallied to win, so Bradley wasn't charged with a loss.
Jun 14 2025Bradley took a no-decision Friday against the Mets, giving up five runs (none earned) on four hits and four walks in four innings. He struck out five. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley lost the plate in the fifth inning, seeing four consecutive batters reach base before being pulled from the game, but none of his runs allowed were earned due to a pair of fielding errors. The four walks matched a season high for the right-hander, but he has managed to keep the hits down in 2025 by allowing five or fewer on 10 occasions among 14 starts. Overall, Bradley owns a respectable 4.35 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 71:33 K:BB over 78.2 innings ahead of his next scheduled outing versus the Orioles.
Jun 7 2025Bradley settled for a no-decision after allowing seven runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two during Saturday's 11-10 loss to the Marlins in extras. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The young 24-year-old had a tough outing Saturday, allowing a season-high seven runs to a bottom-10 offense in the sport. Bradley, who struck out 34 batters in his last 30 innings entering Saturday, struggled to miss bats and got punished for mistakes by the Marlins. The good news is that each time the right-hander has had a non-quality start this season, he's bounced back and delivered a quality start on each occasion, lending optimism to a rebound outing during his next scheduled Friday at the Mets.
Jun 1 2025Bradley (4-5) took the loss Sunday against Houston, allowing one unearned run on three hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out 10. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley and Hunter Brown were locked into a pitchers' duel Sunday, with the duo combining to allow just four hits and zero earned runs. So, a fielding error by Junior Caminero followed by an RBI single by Christian Walker was enough to give Bradley his third loss in his last four starts. Bradley has allowed fewer than three earned runs in six of his last seven starts, and he's now thrown seven innings in back-to-back outings. On the year, Bradley has a 3.95 ERA and a 64:27 K:BB over 70.2 innings. He's on track to face the Marlins next time out.
May 28 2025Bradley (4-4) took the loss Tuesday, giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk over seven innings as the Rays fell 4-2 to the Twins. He struck out six. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The right-hander needed 91 pitches (61 strikes) to deliver his second straight quality start and seventh of the season in 11 outings, but a lack of support on both offense and defense kept him out of the win column. Bradley's still prone to the occasional dud performance, but over his last seven starts he sports a 3.92 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 30:15 K:BB through 41.1 innings. He'll look for a better result in his next trip to the mound, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend in Houston.
May 21 2025Bradley (4-3) earned the win Wednesday over the Astros, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out seven. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley got off to a shaky start Wednesday -- the right-hander hit Jeremy Pena with a pitch to lead off the game before giving up a two-run homer to Isaac Paredes. However, Bradley would bounce back and blank Houston over his final five innings, allowing just three additional hits, en route to his fourth win and sixth quality start this year. The 24-year-old Bradley now sports a 4.61 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP and 48:24 K:BB across 10 starts (56.2 innings) this season. He currently lines up for a home matchup with the Twins in his next outing.
May 16 2025Bradley (3-3) took the loss Friday against the Marlins after allowing five runs on six hits and three walks in four innings. He struck out six. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Friday marked Bradley's shortest outing of the season, but he did fan at least six for the first time in his last six starts. Walks have been a big issue for the hard-throwing right-hander, who has issued at least three free passes on five occasions in his last eight appearances. Bradley will look to improve on his 4.80 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 41:22 K:BB over 50.2 innings in his next scheduled start versus the Astros, which lines up for next week.
May 10 2025Bradley did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Brewers, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk with five strikeouts over six innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley battled through a rain delay and worked around a pair of solo homers to earn his third quality start in his past four outings. The 24-year-old generated 11 whiffs on 84 pitches and has now allowed three earned runs or fewer in six of eight starts this season. He'll carry a 4.24 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 35:19 K:BB across 46.2 innings into a favorable matchup with the Marlins next weekend.
May 4 2025Bradley (3-2) earned the win against the Yankees on Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks with one strikeout over 5.1 innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley threw just 50 of 88 pitches for strikes with only four whiffs but still managed to limit one of baseball's top lineups to two runs. The 24-year-old has logged at least five frames in all seven starts this season, yielding three earned runs or fewer in five of them. He'll carry a 4.43 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 30:18 K:BB across 40.2 innings into a home matchup with the Brewers next weekend.
Apr 17 2025Bradley (2-1) took the loss Thursday against the Yankees after allowing six runs on nine hits and four walks in 5.1 innings. He struck out three. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley ran into immediate danger Thursday, giving up three hits before recording a single out, but he held the Yankees to just one run in the first inning. The right-hander then faltered while giving up five runs across the fifth and sixth innings, two of which came via inherited runners by Manuel Rodriguez after Bradley was relieved. Bradley will be tough to trust in fantasy leagues in Arizona for his next scheduled start, where he'll carry a dicey 5.24 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 24:10 K:BB across four starts (22.1 innings).
Apr 11 2025Bradley (2-0) earned the win against Atlanta on Friday. He allowed one run on five hits and two walks while striking out seven across six innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley's lone run allowed came on Matt Olson RBI single in the first inning. The 24-year-old right-hander settled in after the first frame, retiring 15 of the next 17 batters he faced while striking out five over that span. Bradley has logged two quality starts so far, and across his three outings he's posted a 4.40 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 19:6 K:BB across 14.1 innings. His next start is tentatively lined up for next week at home against the Red Sox.
Apr 5 2025Bradley allowed four earned runs on two hits and four walks while striking out seven across five innings in Saturday's game against the Rangers. He didn't factor into the decision. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The Rangers jumped on Bradley early, slugging a pair of homers that accounted for all four runs against him in the first frame. He didn't allow a hit across his final four innings of work, and he generated 10 swinging strikes on 82 pitches. While Bradley's recovery was promising, his struggles with the long ball throughout his big-league career still create extra concern about this showing.
Mar 30 2025Bradley (1-0) earned the win Sunday versus the Rockies, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out seven. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The Tampa Bay right-hander scattered five hits -- four singles and one double -- across his 78 total pitches to secure his first victory and quality start of the season. Bradley's fastball looked sharp, as he averaged 96.8 mph on the pitch, in line with last season when it averaged 96.4 mph. The 24-year-old is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Rangers on the road next weekend.
Feb 26 2025Bradley allowed one hit with no walks or strikeouts across 2.1 scoreless innings in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley threw 25 pitches before being pulled and revealed after the game that he tinkered with his cutter this offseason to add a pitch with movement that resembles a slider. Per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Bradley debuted the pitch in Tuesday's game against the Phillies and is hoping the offering will reduce his homer problem after giving up 1.4 HR/9 in 2024. He also hit 98 mph with his fastball.
Sep 27 2024Bradley allowed three hits and a walk over six shutout frames Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Red Sox. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley didn't face much of a threat as he rolled through six scoreless innings in his season finale. He needed only 71 pitches to complete the six frames and forced 11 whiffs, including four with his splitter. It was Bradley's second quality start over his last seven appearances and he finished the year with back-to-back wins. He posted a 2.90 ERA over 68.1 innings before the All-Star break but his season ERA ended at 4.11 through 25 outings due to some second-half struggles. Bradley posted a 5.30 ERA while going 4-7 over his final 13 starts this season.
Sep 21 2024Bradley (7-11) earned the win against the Blue Jays on Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts over five innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley generated 12 whiffs on 103 pitches and performed well enough to earn his first win since July 25. The 23-year-old has yielded four or more earned runs in six of his past 10 outings but has earned a quality start and a victory in two of his past three. On the season, he owns a 4.30 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 147:46 K:BB across 132 innings and lines up to face the Red Sox in his final start of the campaign.
Sep 15 2024Bradley (6-11) yielded two runs on five hits and three walks over 4.1 innings Sunday, striking out six and taking a loss against Cleveland. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley escaped a bases-loaded jam in the first inning but was charged with a run in each of the second and fifth frames. While he threw 99 pitches despite not finishing five innings, he managed to generate 15 whiffs, including eight from the splitter. Bradley hasn't earned a win since July 25 and has now lost seven straight decisions. During the losing streak, he's posted a brutal 7.88 ERA over nine starts. Bradley will carry a 4.39 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to be at home against the Blue Jays.
Sep 10 2024Bradley didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Phillies, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out six. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Three of the Phillies four runs off Bradley came via the long ball, a Kyle Schwarber solo shot in the first inning before Trea Turner added a two-run homer in the third. The 23-year-old Bradley has now gone eight straight starts without a win, struggling to an 8.27 ERA in that span, though he's shown some improvement recently, logging 16 strikeouts over 13 innings in his last two outings. Bradley is 6-10 on the season with a 4.40 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 137:41 K:BB across 122.2. innings. He's currently in line to face the Guardians on the road this weekend in his next start.
Sep 5 2024Bradley (6-10) took the loss against the Twins on Thursday, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk while striking out 10 batters over seven innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley pitched well Thursday against the Twins, but a pair of home runs cost him, and he came away with his 10th loss of the season. Bradley has now allowed a homer in each of his last five games, and he becomes the first Rays pitcher to allow 20 or more homers in back-to-back seasons since 2016-17. Following a dominant nine-start stretch from early June to late July, Bradley has pitched to an 8.92 ERA with six losses in his last seven outings.
Aug 30 2024Bradley (6-9) allowed eight runs on eight hits and two walks over 2.1 innings Friday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Padres. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley gave up seven runs in the first two innings, including Manny Machado's three-run homer in the second frame. Bradley was charged with one more run after being lifted in the third inning. After an unbelievable run throughout most of June and July (0.82 ERA over nine starts), he's been knocked around for the last several weeks. Bradley is 0-5 with a 9.53 ERA in his last six starts, pushing his season ERA up to 4.35 through 109.2 innings. His next outing is projected to be at home against the Twins next week.
Aug 25 2024Bradley did not factor into the decision in Saturday's extra-inning win over the Dodgers, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits over six innings while striking out five. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley cruised through the first three innings before Shohei Ohtani reached on a catcher's interference call to lead off the bottom of the fourth and was then driven in on a double from Mookie Betts. The right-hander would go on to surrender a two-run shot to Teoscar Hernandez two batters later, along with three more runs in the following frame as the Dodgers took a 6-5 lead. Bradley has now given up three or more runs in each of his last five starts, surrendering multiple homers three times over that stretch. On a positive note, Saturday marked the first outing in which Bradley didn't issue a walk since May 20 against the Red Sox (span of 15 starts).
Aug 19 2024Bradley (6-8) took the loss against Oakland on Monday, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two batters over six innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Following a dominant nine-start stretch from early June to late July, Bradley entered Monday in a funk, posting a 9.64 ERA and 1.93 WHIP while losing three straight outings. The right-hander showed some improvement against the A's -- he notched a quality start and was moderately efficient with 89 pitches over six frames -- but he took another defeat and walked more batters (three) than he struck out (two). Bradley also surrendered another long ball, and he's now given up five home runs over his past 20 innings after surrendering just three homers across 55 frames during the aforementioned nine-start stretch. Bradley looked like a potential league-winner in fantasy while he was on his hot streak, but his recent fade is bringing back memories of his tumble late last season, when he posted a 7.11 ERA over his final 13 outings after beginning the campaign with a 3.86 mark across his first 10 starts.
Aug 12 2024Bradley (6-7) took the loss Monday, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks over 4.1 innings against the Astros. He struck out six. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley was mostly done in by a four-run third that was capped by a three-run blast off the bat of Yainer Diaz. Ultimately, Bradley was unable to escape the fifth, having allowed a total of six runs en route to his seventh loss. Following a 10-game stretch in which Bradley completed at least five innings during each start and allowed two or fewer runs nine times, Bradley has now failed to complete five in each of his last two while allowing a total of 11 earned runs. Despite his recent struggles, Bradley's season-long totals remain strong with a 3.49 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 112 strikeouts over 95.1 innings. His next opportunity is not slated to be any easier, as he's currently set to face off against the red-hot Diamondbacks in Tampa.
Aug 7 2024Bradley (6-6) allowed five runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out three over 4.2 innings to take the loss Wednesday versus the Cardinals. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: This was the third time all year Bradley has given up at least five runs. He's given up nine runs across his last 9.2 innings, taking losses in each of his last two starts after posting a 20-inning scoreless streak over three outings before that. The 23-year-old still has an impressive 3.07 ERA with a 1.09 WHIP and 106:31 K:BB across 91 innings over 16 starts, but there's always the risk of a young pitcher wearing down late in the year. He's tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the Astros.
Jul 31 2024Bradley (6-5) took the loss Wednesday against Miami, allowing four runs on four hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out six. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley was stung by the long ball Tuesday -- after giving up a solo homer to Jonah Bride in the second inning, the right-hander surrendered a two-run shot to Jake Burger in the third that put the Rays in a 4-2 hole. Bradley hadn't allowed more than two runs in nine straight starts prior to Wednesday -- he'd pitched to a stellar 0.82 ERA in that span (55 innings). Overall, the 23-year-old Bradley now sports a 2.71 ERA on the year with a 1.01 WHIP and 103:28 K:BB across 15 outings (86.1 innings). He'll look to get back on track in his next start, currently scheduled for early next week in St. Louis.
Jul 25 2024Bradley (6-4) picked up the win Thursday against Toronto, allowing two hits and one walk with seven strikeouts during six scoreless innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley has been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the last month and a half, allowing five earned runs over his previous 55.0 innings. In addition, Bradley hasn't surrendered a run in three consecutive starts. He made quick work of the Blue Jays Thursday and didn't allow a hit after the first inning, retiring 17 of the final 18 batters he faced. The 23-year-old's ERA has dropped to 2.63 on the year, punching out 90 hitters across 75.1 innings pitched.
Jul 20 2024Bradley (5-4) earned the win against the Yankees on Saturday, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out five over seven scoreless innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The only hit Bradley allowed was a leadoff double to Ben Rice, and he concluded his outing by retiring 11 consecutive batters. The 23-year-old has now tossed seven scoreless frames in back-to-back starts and has yielded two earned runs or fewer in eight straight. He owns a 2.63 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 90:26 K:BB across 75.1 innings and lines up for a home matchup with the Reds next week.
Jul 12 2024Bradley (4-4) earned the win against the Guardians on Friday, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven scoreless innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley dominated one of the best lineups in baseball, generating 15 swinging strikes on 97 pitches and retiring 10 straight hitters at one point. He has now logged back-to-back quality starts and has allowed two runs or fewer in each of his past seven outings. The 23-year-old heads into the All-Star break with an impressive 2.90 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 85:24 K:BB over 68.1 innings this season.
Jul 7 2024Bradley came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out five. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The right-hander was still the pitcher of record when the Rays took the lead in the top of the seventh, putting Bradley in line for his fourth win of the year, but Kevin Kelly blew the save in the bottom of the frame. The quality start was Bradley's third in his last five trips to the mound, a stretch in which he's posted a 1.29 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 45:13 K:BB through 35 innings. The 23-year-old right-hander will look to keep rolling in his next start, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Guardians.
Jun 30 2024Bradley (3-4) earned the win Sunday, allowing no runs on three hits and two walks over 5.2 innings against the Nationals. He struck out 11. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley held the Nationals off the board while matching a season high in strikeouts. Since allowing nine runs and four homers against Baltimore on June 1, Bradley has been on a heater, posting five-consecutive starts allowing two earned runs or fewer while accumulating double-digit strikeout totals during two of those outings. During that stretch, he's completed 29 innings, allowing just four earned runs (1.24 ERA) with a 1.00 WHIP and 40 strikeouts. He'll look to keep things rolling during his next start, tentatively slated to take place next weekend when the Rays travel to Arlington to take on the Rangers.
Jun 24 2024Bradley came away with a no-decision Monday against Seattle, allowing one earned run on two hits and four walks while striking out eight over 5.1 innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The only run given up by Bradley came on a fourth-inning home run by Cal Raleigh. The right-hander yielded just two hits, but the four walks are a season-worst and he has now walked multiple batters in six of his past seven starts. The 23-year-old has an excellent 10.8 K/9 (91st percentile), but he will need to minimize free passes to stay consistent. On the season, Bradley has recorded a 3.81 ERA, a 1.15 WHIP and a 61:18 K:BB over 49.2 innings. His next start is currently scheduled for this weekend against Washington.
Jun 19 2024Bradley allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out three batters over six innings in a no-decision against Minnesota on Wednesday. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley didn't have his best strikeout stuff -- his three punchouts tied a season-low mark and were a far cry from the 11 strikeouts he notched his previous time on the mound -- but he nonetheless managed his second straight quality start. The right-hander has rebounded well from a 3.1-inning, nine-run shellacking at the hands of the Orioles on June 1, yielding just three runs over 18 frames across his subsequent three starts. Bradley has recorded a 4.06 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 53:14 K:BB overall across 44.1 innings this season.
Jun 13 2024Bradley (2-4) earned the win against the Cubs on Thursday, allowing two (unearned) runs on three hits and two walks with 11 strikeouts over seven innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley was dominant other than the fifth inning, when the Cubs scored two unearned runs on back-to-back bunts. This was arguably the best start of Bradley's young career, as he registered 17 swinging strikes on 104 pitches and tied a career-high with 11 strikeouts. While Bradley has been up-and-down in 2024, Thursday's effort showed his immense potential when he has his best stuff. On the season, he owns a 4.23 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 50:12 K:BB in 38.1 innings and lines up to start next Wednesday against the Twins.
Jun 8 2024Bradley (1-4) took the loss against Baltimore on Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over five innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: In his previous outing, Bradley was crushed by the Orioles for nine runs over 3.1 innings, so his performance Saturday was a promising turnaround. However, the strong effort didn't make a difference in the loss column, as Tampa Bay's offense was shut out by Kyle Bradish and a pair of Baltimore relievers. Despite the defeat, fantasy managers who roster Bradley should be encouraged by his start -- in addition to allowing just one run, he racked up 18 swinging strikes and walked only one batter. He now holds a 5.17 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 39:10 K:BB over 31.1 innings on the season.
Jun 2 2024Bradley (1-3) took the loss Saturday, surrendering nine runs on nine hits -- including four home runs -- and three walks over 3.1 innings as the Rays were downed 9-5 by the Orioles. He struck out three. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Baltimore put runs on the board in every inning the right-hander pitched, with Ryan Mountcastle taking him deep twice to lead the charge for the home squad. Bradley had served up only three homers in 23 innings this season since coming off the IL, but keeping the ball in the park was an issue for him in 2023 as well, and he's now been tagged for 30 homers in 131 career big-league innings. Bradley will look to rebound in his next start, which lines up to be a rematch with the O's back in Tampa Bay next weekend.
May 26 2024Bradley allowed a hit and three walks while striking out six over five scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Sunday. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley was able to quiet a Royals offense that had scored at least five runs in each of the previous eight games. This was a good bounce-back effort for Bradley after he gave up five runs over seven innings to the Red Sox on Monday. The 23-year-old is now at a 3.13 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB over 23 innings across four starts this season. His next start is projected to be a tough road matchup in Baltimore.
May 20 2024Bradley (1-2) allowed five runs on six hits over seven innings Monday, striking out 10 and taking a loss against Boston. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley worked through three shutout frames before the Red Sox scored three runs in the fourth inning. Nearly all the damage against him came on a pair of two-run homers by Rafael Devers and Ceddanne Rafaela. Despite the poor final line, Bradley turned in his longest start of the year and matched his career best with seven innings. He owns a 4.00 ERA with an impressive 23:3 K:BB through 18 innings. His next start is projected to be at home against the Royals this weekend.
May 15 2024Bradley (1-1) earned the win over Boston on Wednesday, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out six batters over five innings. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley wasn't quite as sharp as he was in his season debut Friday versus the Yankees, when he gave up just one run and struck out seven batters over six innings, but a big difference Wednesday was that he went home with a win. The promising 23-year-old got a late start to the season after injuring his pectoral in spring training and subsequently landing on the injured list, but he's impressed in two starts since his return as he attempts to solidify the back of Tampa Bay's rotation. Bradley's next start is tentatively projected to be a rematch against Boston, this time at home.
May 10 2024Bradley (0-1) took the loss Friday against the Yankees, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out seven. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley was excellent in his first start since suffering a pectoral strain in spring training, holding the Yankees to a lone run on an Anthony Rizzo two-out RBI single in the fourth. However, the right-hander was stuck with the loss as the Rays failed to get anything going offensively in the 2-0 defeat. Bradley made 21 starts for Tampa Bay last year, going 5-8 with a 5.59 ERA. He's currently slated to face the Red Sox on the road in his next outing.
May 8 2024The Rays reinstated Bradley (pectoral) from the 15-day injured list Wednesday. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley is slated to make his season debut Friday against the Yankees at Tropicana Field, but the Rays opted to activate the right-hander two days early after rotation mate Ryan Pepiot (lower leg) was placed on the 15-day IL in a corresponding move. The 23-year-old showed no sign of being affected by the pectoral strain he suffered in spring training over the course of his two rehab starts with Triple-A Durham, as he struck out 15 while allowing one earned run on two hits and three walks across 11 innings. Bradley built up to 94 pitches in his second outing with Durham last Friday and shouldn't face any workload restrictions in his first start with Tampa Bay.
May 6 2024Bradley (pectoral) has joined the Rays in Tampa Bay and is likely to be activated from the 15-day injured list to make his season debut later this week, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Bradley has been out all season with a right pectoral strain, but he looked good in two rehab starts, most recently yielding just one earned run across six innings while striking out eight with Triple-A Durham this past Friday. The exact date for Bradley's season debut hasn't yet been revealed, but he'll presumably take the hill sometime this weekend against the Yankees.
