ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Adcock spent 24 hours with the big club and threw 18 pitches out of the bullpen Thursday against the Diamondbacks. He faced four batters and surrendered one hit and one walk. With Adcock going back down to Triple-A, the Mets have recalled fellow reliever Austin Warren.
May 1 2025The Mets selected Adcock's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Adcock was off to a nice start with Syracuse, yielding just one run with a 6:1 K:BB over seven innings. He will be used in middle relief with the Mets.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Adcock will have the ability to choose his next destination with the Mets cutting ties with him after he went unclaimed off waivers upon being designated for assignment Tuesday. The Mets claimed Adcock off waivers in late May, and the right-handed reliever gave up seven runs over 4.1 innings across three appearances for the big club during his brief time in the majors. He'll presumably have to settle for a minor-league deal in free agency.
Jul 6 2024The Mets optioned Adcock to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday. ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Since being called up to the Mets on June 26, Adcock has given up seven earned runs in just 4.1 innings -- six of which came during his latest outing Friday. He'll now return to the minors in order to get back on track, and Eric Orze will come up from Triple-A to replenish New York's bullpen depth.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The 27-year-old was claimed off waivers from the Tigers in late May and will now receive his first look in the majors for the Mets. Adcock posted a 3.45 ERA over 15.2 frames in his first taste of the big leagues last year with Seattle, but he's struggled to a 5.82 ERA across 17 outings at the Triple-A level this season.
