| May 17 2017 | Albies went 3-for-3 with two walks, a home run, three runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Triple-A Gwinnett's win over Norfolk on Tuesday. | After a rough stretch in late April and early May the 20-year-old has begun to heat up again, hitting .316 (12-for-38) over his last 10 games. More impressively, Triple-A catchers are having no luck containing him on the basepaths, as Albies has stolen a base in four straight games and now has 13 steals on 14 attempts through 36 games. The Braves' No. 3 prospect stole 30 bases across two levels last year and 29 bases in 2015 for Low-A Rome, but he seems intent on blowing past those marks this season with Gwinnett. |
